Europa Sets it’s Sights on Global Success

Europa Showfreight, a division of leading logistics business, Europa Worldwide Group, has set out ambitious plans for the upcoming events season, following its most successful spring/summer season to date.

The Showfreight team, which is based at the company’s Birmingham site in Minworth, has seen a 12 per cent increase in turnover and consignments this year compared to the same period in 2016 and expects the new Autumn/Winter season to be even more successful than the last.

Europa welcomes debate about how to get dartford moving

Leading independent logistics operator, Europa Worldwide Group’s campaign to tackle the traffic jams at the Dartford Tunnel has seen thousands of people from across the UK sign its petition, with signatures almost at the 2,000 mark in its first week. 

The campaign has also sparked debate within the industry – with industry bodies and fellow operators voicing concerns about Europa MD, Andrew Baxter’s proposal to reroute oversized and hazardous goods vehicles the other way around the M25, in a bid to ease the ever-worsening congestion at the Dartford Tunnel.

100 new customers in just 12 months

More than 100 new customer accounts have been won by the Manchester branch of Europa Road in the last 12 months – a key indicator that the business is well on track to hit its ambitious target of becoming the leading logistics operator between the UK and Europe by 2018. 

Celebrating its best year of growth on record the 15-strong team at Europa’s Manchester branch, located at Media Village, has not only attracted over 100 new customers in the last year, it has also seen its consignment numbers and gross profit increase by 30 per cent.
